Don Giorgio was born on Saturday 12th of May, 2012, and immediately endeared himself to everyone with his brave affectionate nature - which has never changed. He is a statuesque model - a powerful mover with a well muscled top line and very handsome face. He is proving amenable as we introduce him to tack - saddle, bridle and boots.

Don Giorgio is by Don Index , the 70 day Stallion Performance Test Champion at Adelheidsdorf in 2010. On attaining this achievement he was acquired by the Celle State Stud where he now stands and his first crop of foals caused a mini sensation in Germany.
Dam Drogheda
His mother Drogheda is a stunning Hanoverian mare by De Niro who descends from the highly coveted Trakehna mare line of Happy III, which has also produced the champion mare Soiree D'Amour (who was fifth in the World Breeding Championships for 5 year olds in 2014). Drogheda's first son is competing successfully in young horse classes (at what equates to advanced medium level) in Germany; while her second son by Lord Loxley licensed as a Stallion in Verden in October 2010 and was sold to Sweden. We own her third foal, a glorious filly by Floriscount, who is Hanoverian 1 A graded. Don Giorgio is her fourth foal. Her fifth foal, by Metal, is retained by us as a stallion prospect and her fifth foal is sold to Canada as a dressage competition prospect.
